Yes. All passengers must clear immigration before boarding. Immigration clearance is done on site at Telaga Harbour International Terminal.

Yes, a valid Border Pass may be used to enter Thailand.

Yes. MDAC registration needs to be submitted for each re-entry into Malaysia.

No. MDAC registration is required only for foreign nationals. 

Yes. TDAC registration can be done up to 1 day before or on the date of departure, provided it is complete before arrival in Koh Lipe.

For visa purposes, passengers may indicate the vessel/boat name “Southern 1”. 

Tickets for infants under 2 years old are free of charge.

Yes, walk-in bookings are accepted, subject to seat availability. We recommend booking online in advance as tickets may sell out.

We don't provide this service. However, onward boat transfers are available from Koh Lipe by other operators to Koh Bulon, Koh Ngai, Koh Tarutao, Koh Mook, Koh Lanta, Phi Phi, and Phuket.

Our check-in counter opens 2 hours before departure and closes 30 minutes before departure. Boarding may be denied if you arrive after check-in has closed.

·       If you miss the 9:30am ferry, you may be boarded on the 2:30pm ferry, subject to seat availability.

·       We do not provide next-day boarding.

All ferries depart from Telaga Terminal, Telaga Harbour Marina, Pantai Kok. 

Koh Lipe is 42 kilometres or 90 minutes by ferry from Telaga Terminal, Langkawi.

We operate a fully certified and registered closed passenger ferry.

Yes. Life jackets for adults and children are provided on the ferry.

No. Our services depart only from Telaga Terminal at Telaga Harbour Marina.

Approximately 15 - 20 minutes by car.

Approximately 30 - 35 minutes by car. 

Yes, taxis are readily available upon arrival at Telaga Terminal.

Currently, we do not provide pick-up services.

We do not have a dedicated luggage storage facility. However, luggage can be stored at the Terminal Office. Please ask our counter staff for assistance.

The service is closed during the monsoon season between June - September.

Our drop-off point is at Satun Pakbara Speed Boat Club Lipe @ Varin Beach Ferry & Immigration Checkpoint, Pattaya Beach, Koh Lipe.

No. The longtail transfer is included in your ticket price.

No. The fee is cash only. Payment can be made in Thai Baht or Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), subject to ranger acceptance.

Yes, ATMs are available on the island.
