Travel Advisory: COVID-19 Update
17 March 2020The Government of Malaysia has made the decision to implement a nationwide Movement Control Order (Partial Lockdown) to contain COVID-19 from 18th March 2020 to 31st March 2020.
A temporary suspension of foreign tourists and visitors has been enforced to prevent further spread of the coronavirus. All foreign nationals from any country will be barred from entering Malaysia with effect from 18th March 2020 to 31st March 2020.
All Malaysian citizens are suspended from leaving the country and those arriving back into the country will have to undergo a health check and observe a 14 day self quarantine.
Safety is our utmost priority at Telaga Terminal, and we support the Malaysian government’s efforts to keep everyone safe from COVID-19. In light of this, Telaga Terminal will cease all Langkawi – Koh Lipe ferry operations from 18th March 2020 to 31st March 2020.
